Fashion is an industry that has always been at the forefront of society, crossing over into different fields, like music, film and sport. Over the years, the importance of keeping up with trends and styles has become a part of everyday life for all, and a huge talking point for publications and news outlets. However, over the last year, fashion for most people has become less of a factor in daily life. But with the world slowly regaining some semblance of normality, and with spring fast approaching, now is a good time to up your game, and get your wardrobe ready for the months to come.
We recently sat down with OnlyFans creator Mimi, also known as StyleByM, to get some first-hand advice on how to style spring outfits, and the go-to trends this season. Check out this spring fashion guide and what she had to say below!

Spring outfits to add to your wardrobe
“A classic sundress will always be at the center of your spring wardrobe. My favourite style is a flattering fit that accentuates my waist. A sundress is an easy way to step out of your style comfort zone by experimenting with colour and pattern. Style it with a pair of sneakers for a quick and easy outfit or add a cardigan for going out during the day and switch to a leather jacket for [the] night.”
Essential colours this season
“Bright colours will always be at the center of any spring wardrobe. Sage green and lilac are all over the runways this year. I don’t think there are specific colours anyone needs to avoid. When it comes to colours, just have fun with it and wear what makes you comfortable. If your wardrobe is very neutral, try adding some navy blue in there!”
Outfit inspiration for night and day
“Double breasted-blazers and layers are going to be huge this spring. I love a good blazer because it can really take a look from day to night. I’ll even wear them with shorts and just add a fun belt to dress up the look.”
Trends to watch our for this spring
“We’ve seen a lot of layering and new ways to wear corsets, which I think is such a fun and sexy trend. Monochromatic looks are still going strong, and will continue to show up in a lot of spring and summer fashion trends. There is also a huge rise in simple separates. I love these pieces because they go together perfectly, but you can separate them and experiment with styling other items you already have in your closet to give them a fresh new look.”
Hopefully, Mimi has given you some top inspiration for outfits, and styles to try out this spring. If there is anything that you will be trying out this year, let us know in the comments section below, and you could see your top fashion tips featured in our summer instalment!
