Hosts Nick Kyrgios  and Sophie Stonehouse, with referee Rachel Starr keeping everyone in line, kick off the first episode of Smash City, where eight picklers battle for the $20,000 grand prize. 

The players split into Team Pickle:  Nathan Webb, Nellie Cronen, Kayla Fitzergerald, and Sachia Vickery, and Team Dink: Adi Spiegelman, Trippie Bri, Joey Joy, and Steph Mi, before diving into four chaotic mini-games. 

From oversized paddles and competitive trash talk to the absurd "Balls Against the Wall" and a game of pickle pong, every challenge helps level the playing field while revealing each contestant's competitive side.

When the scores are tallied, Team Dink comes up short and must vote one of their own out of the competition, but not before Referee Rachel dumps water on them. 

After some last-minute psychological gameplay, Adi changes her vote to Steph, and Trippie Bri follows suit, sealing Steph's fate. 

With the first elimination in the books, Smash City wastes no time showing just how ruthless the competition can get.

After Steph’s elimination, the remaining contestants quickly learn there’s no time to dwell. From now until the finale, every episode features both a mini-game and a main challenge, giving players twice the opportunities to shine or stumble.

First up is "Eyes on the Prize," where contestants must keep a pickleball bouncing on their paddle while maintaining unbroken eye contact with their opponent. 

The challenge proves surprisingly tricky for most, but Sachia Vickery dominates with ease, using her tennis background to sweep Team Dink and earn another win for Team Pickle.

The main challenge puts the contestants across the net from tennis star Nick Kyrgios, who fires blistering serves their way. The goal is simple: return as many shots as possible, often relying on soft dinks to counter Nick's pace and spin. 

As the competition tightens, the top contenders begin to separate themselves, while Trippie Bri and Kayla Fitzgerald struggle to keep up.

After recording the fewest successful returns, both are eliminated, proving that in Smash City, every point counts.

It’s the penultimate episode of Smash City, and the $20,000 grand prize is almost within reach. Before anyone can think about the finale, the remaining contestants must survive one more mini-game and a high-stakes main challenge. 

First up, they have just 20 minutes to create fashionable pickleball outfits using a pile of random materials before showing them off on the runway. 

The judges aren't easily impressed, and when the scores are in, Joey Joy's ambitious design comes up short, making him the latest contestant eliminated.

With only four players left, runway winner Nellie earns the advantage of choosing her partner for the main challenge and wisely teams up with the competition's strongest player, Sachia. 

The duo proves unstoppable, defeating Nathan and Adi to earn the final elimination decision. 

After weighing their options, Nellie and Sachia decide Nathan is too dangerous to keep around, sending him home and leaving Adi, Nellie, and Sachia as the final three heading into the championship.

After battling through a gauntlet of mini-games and main challenges, only Adi, Sachia, and Nellie remain. 

To earn a spot in the championship, they face their toughest mini-game yet: a five-minute accuracy challenge where every target hit earns points, with the final 30 seconds counting double. 

Nellie comes out firing and posts an impressive score, while Sachia quickly finds her rhythm and proves why she's the competition's most experienced racket athlete. Adi can't keep pace, and her Smash City journey comes to an end.

The championship comes down to one final pickleball match between Nellie and Sachia, with $20,000 on the line. 

Nellie has exceeded expectations all season, but Sachia's professional tennis experience proves to be the difference. 

She controls the match from start to finish, cruising to an 11-1 victory to become the first-ever Smash City champion and take home the grand prize.
