To find out how it all went down, read our Miss/Match Season 7 recap.
Warning: spoilers ahead.
S7E1: Jamie Lyn / Rafael Gueto
Jamie Lyn Rinn and Rafael Gueto kick off Miss/Match Season 7 with an unpredictable start. Jamie Lyn’s sharp, teasing humor meets Rafael’s laid-back beach energy, but things get complicated when she learns he lives in Bali.
The distance raises questions early, especially as they start to compare lifestyles and expectations. Still, they find a rhythm as they get to know each other. A game of Blind Recall shows they’re paying attention, even if they don’t get every detail right, and their back-and-forth begins to feel more natural as they settle in.
A spray-paint challenge brings some laughs, with Rafael’s artwork missing the mark but keeping the mood light. The playful chaos helps break down any lingering tension and keeps the energy moving.
By the time they reach the Deeper Dive, the conversation shifts. Both open up about what they’re looking for, with Jamie Lyn drawn to Rafael’s loyalty and Rafael intrigued by the idea of sharing his life in Bali.
As they leave the hot tub, both seem uncertain about their compatibility. But when it’s time to turn their paddles over, the answer is clear.
S7E2: Nate Harris / Haven Tunin
From the start, Nate Harris and Haven Tunin have very different energies. Nate is more reserved, looking to open up, while Haven brings a confident, playful presence with a touch of her signature witchy personality.
Haven’s entrance throws Nate off early when he realizes she looks just like his ex, but the moment passes quickly as they settle in. Haven is encouraged by Nate’s openness to her more mystical side, and their dynamic begins to take shape.
During Blind Recall, they don’t land every answer, but they pick up on enough details to keep things moving.
Outside, a Jenga-style game pushes them to answer more personal questions. While they learn a lot about each other, both admit their nerves might be holding them back from fully opening up.
During the Deeper Dive, a new challenge emerges when Nate reveals he’s allergic to cats after Haven shares she has four. A potential roadblock, but not enough to stop them.
When it’s time to make a decision, there’s no clear read on where they stand. But when the paddles turn...
S7E3: Noah D / Genie Exum
Noah Danehower and Genie Exum bring a chaotic energy from the start. Noah is upfront about wanting something more nurturing, while Genie makes it clear she’s not looking for anything serious.
Their banter is immediate and relentless, with both leaning into a competitive dynamic. There’s a clear spark, but neither is willing to give ground, leading to a back-and-forth of playful jabs that borders on tension.
A game of Lie To Me only adds to it, with both fully committing to the bit and matching each other’s energy.
Things heat up during a compatibility challenge, where they’re asked to work together through a series of scenarios. While they don’t always land on the same page, some chemistry is still there.
In the Deeper Dive, the tone stays light, but the alignment becomes clearer. Both admit they’re looking for something short-term, and they recognize the dynamic might not hold up beyond the moment.
To nobody’s surprise, both Noah and Genie choose Miss.
S7E4: Sam Kruse / Nico Contrada
Sam Kruse, a model who prefers deeper relationships over casual dating, is looking for someone who can match her outgoing personality. Nico Contrada, a Hawaii-based skydiver, is coming off a rough stretch and hopes to find someone equally expressive.
The early moments are tentative, but they find a rhythm when they realize they’re both from Northern California.
Nico perks up more when Sam shares that she owns an indoor soccer arena.
During Blind Recall, Sam shows she’s dialed in, while Nico struggles to keep up, missing a few key details. Outside, a round of Me On A Tee keeps things playful, even if the artistic results fall short.
The lighthearted energy carries them into the Deeper Dive, where the topics become more personal. Sam opens up about her past relationship, while Nico shares his vision for the future, including a very specific plan for starting a family.
As the day winds down, it’s clear the spark between Sam and Nico has grown. Both choose Match, ready to see where things go.
S7E5: Cassie Marrufo / Zac Attack
Cassie Marrufo and Zac Attack have very different expectations for their Miss/Match experience. Cassie is more reserved and selective, while Zac brings a confident, country energy that’s hard to miss.
The attraction is immediate, with both quick to acknowledge each other’s looks. Early conversation is playful but revealing, as Zac shares his past as a stripper and Cassie leans into her offbeat sense of humor.
But once they move into a game of Lie To Me, the dynamic starts to shift. A few unexpected details begin to throw them off, and the initial spark gives way to a more uneasy back-and-forth.
A round of Perfect Position keeps things moving, with both relying more on instinct than certainty. The energy stays light, but the disconnect lingers beneath the surface.
In the Deeper Dive, Cassie tries to get Zac to reveal more, but he stays aloof. While they bond over their families, Cassie begins to question if Zac is truly engaged.
As they reach the paddle reveal, the disconnect is hard to ignore. Zac chooses Match, but Cassie goes with Miss.
S7E6: Kay Carlson / Josue Gonzalez
Kay Carlson and Josue Gonzalez share an easy, high-energy chemistry from the start. Kay, a fitness influencer ready to move beyond casual dating, brings a playful, outgoing personality, while Josue’s laid-back “party-hippie” vibe keeps things light.
Conversation moves quickly as they bond over shared interests like travel and dogs. A game of Blind Recall keeps that momentum going, with both showing they’re tuned in and engaged with each other.
Things stay playful during Mold My Heart, where they work together to shape a pottery piece while blindfolded. The results may fall short, but the connection is clear, and the flirty energy carries through.
In the Deeper Dive, the tone shifts as they open up about their dating histories. Josue reflects on the work he’s put into himself over the past few years, while Kay shares her focus on personal growth and finding something more meaningful.
Even with the long-distance factor in the mix, both decide on Match.
S7E7: Sedona / Syler
Syler and Sedona Sky start off with an intriguing contrast. Syler, a bodybuilder with a more reserved demeanor, is looking for something meaningful, while Sedona brings an adventurous energy shaped by her love of travel and unconventional interests.
They quickly find common ground in their shared Arizona roots, but differences emerge just as fast.
Syler questions Sedona’s tattoos, while Sedona is thrown off by Syler’s lack of travel experience, creating an early push and pull in their dynamic.
During Lie To Me, both reveal unexpected sides of themselves, but the disconnect lingers. Sedona struggles to read Syler’s steady tone, while Syler remains unsure about Sedona’s more eccentric interests.
A round of Wood You Rather gives them more insight into each other, but the vibe never quite clicks. By the time they reach the Deep Dive, they manage to find common ground on values like family and long-term stability.
But the paddles tell a different story. Both choose Miss.
S7E8: Jaz / Tony
Jaz Payne and Tony Alejandro bring totally different energies to their first meeting. Jaz is confident and direct about what she wants, while Tony, despite his party persona, comes across more reserved in the moment.
Jaz quickly takes the lead in the discussion, though she’s clearly drawn to Tony’s look. A game of Lie To Me highlights the difference in their styles, with Jaz easily reading through Tony’s answers while keeping a few surprises of her own.
Things stay playful, even as Tony struggles to keep up.
Things loosen during Mold My Heart, where the focus shifts more toward having fun than getting the challenge right. The light energy carries them into the Deep Dive, where things get much more personal.
Tony opens up about wanting to settle down, while Jaz shares that her last relationship was open, adding that she’s open to different dynamics moving forward.
Both choose Match, leaning into their attraction and the connection they built. What that means for the question of an open relationship remains to be seen.
