Lucas Eguibar is a Spanish snowboard cross rider and one of the most accomplished winter athletes in Spain’s history. He won the 2021 FIS Snowboard Cross World Championship and captured the 2014–15 World Cup Crystal Globe, becoming the first Spanish snowboarder to do so. Eguibar has earned multiple World Championship medals, competed in four Winter Olympics, and served as Spain’s flag bearer at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
