Lisa Marie Buckwitz is a German bobsledder who rose from a heptathlon background to win Olympic gold in the two-woman event at the 2018 Winter Games. She’s gone on to become a world champion in both the monobob and two-woman disciplines, clinching the IBSF World Championship two-woman title in 2024. A standout on the World Cup circuit, she has captured multiple monobob victories in the 2023–24 season, secured the overall World Cup monobob title, and added two-woman race wins in the 2024–25 season.
