Joan Verdú Sánchez is a prominent alpine skier from Andorra. He has represented his country in three Winter Olympics (2014, 2018, and 2022). In December 2023, Verdú made history by becoming the first Andorran to earn a World Cup podium finish, securing third place in the Giant Slalom at Val-d’Isère. In the offseason, Joan trains as a cyclist to stay in shape.
