Kathryn Gongaware is a comedian, writer, actress, and self-proclaimed hypocrite known for her fierce honesty and distinct race takes, much of which come from her experience teaching yoga in Cook County Jail. She has headlined at The Laugh Factory, performed at iconic venues like The Comedy Cellar and The Comedy Store, and opened for international headliners. Kathryn also produces Sofar Sounds Comedy in Chicago and co-hosts Beyond Bars, a podcast focusing on those impacted by the criminal justice system.
